Project Purpose[edit]

The end goal for this project was to learn about basic manual coded milling on a CNC machine while creating something that could be useful for the workshop. The design settled on was a simple rectangle with holes cut out down the center in order to fit the chucks.

Future Iterations[edit]

The addition of legs to the outer edges of the holder could provide an easier way to set the tool holder down on the various workstations it's needed at without having to necessarily make sure the surface is clean and clear of debris. Another possible improvement would be to stagger the holes rather than line them up so the holder is less likely to tip over and has a more solid base to rest on. The wood could be stained if a specific color is required to possibly have color coded stations in the workshop as well.
